About Me

Scientists dream about doing great things, Engineers turn them into reality. Yes, I am an engineer, and I enjoy watching my ideas take shape and eventually come to life.

After completing Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, I started my professional career with General Motors. During my two years with GM, I was with the “Transmission Simulation and Analysis Group,” where I worked on the structural analysis of transmissions both at a system and component level. The experience gained at GM was special to me as I had the unique opportunity to collaborate with counterparts from different parts of the world such as North America, Europe & Korea. These experiences not only helped me in enhancing my technical skills but also helped me in understanding their diverse ethical backgrounds and work cultures.

Post my two years stint at GM, I took up a research position in a concurrent field. Currently, I am pursuing my Doctoral studies at the Gear and Power Transmission Research Laboratory (The Ohio State University). My current research is in the field of Multibody dynamics with elastic contacts, primarily dealing with the "Load Distribution and Dynamic Behavior of Planetary Gear Systems." My research interests include; Multi-Body Dynamics, Non-linear Dynamics & Chaos, Mechanical Meta-Materials, NVH, and Human body motion.

I am passionate about what I do and look forward to collaborating with like-minded people to improve my knowledge and contribute to the advancement of the field.
